Ithaca scored three touchdowns in the fourth quarter to pull away from the Cardinals, who are now 1-6 on the season.

    La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse football team, receiving votes on this week's D3football.com and American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Top-25 Poll, fell 42-28 to third-ranked UW-Oshkosh Saturday afternoon at Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex. The Eagles drop to 5-2 overall and 2-2 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) while the Titans improve to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in the conference. UW-Oshkosh is ranked third on the D3football.com and AFCA Top-25 Polls.

    The Millikin football team stayed in the battle for first place in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin with a 56-35 win over Carroll University on October 21 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Ill. Millikin is now 6-1 overall and 4-1 in CCIW games. Carroll goes to 1-6, 1-4.

    The offense continued to roll with big plays as the Chapman University football team took down La Verne 38-21 to win its fourth game in a row. Senior Ricky Bautista complted over 70 percent of his passes for the fourth week in a row and senior Joe Mudie had a career-best 166 yards on the ground.
  • Benger Rushes for 204 Yards in Carnegie Mellon’s 42-10 Win at Thiel

    The Carnegie Mellon University football team traveled to Greenville, Pennsylvania on Saturday to play the Tomcats of Thiel College and left with a 42-10 Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) victory. Carnegie Mellon is now 7-1 and 5-1 in PAC play, as Thiel moves to 1-6 and 1-4.

    MORRISVILLE, N.Y. - Johnnie Akins (Roosevelt) ran for two touchdowns and D'monte Woody (Freeport) returned a blocked field goal 83 yards for a crucial score late in the third quarter as Cortland defeated host Morrisville State, 34-20, in an Empire 8 contest. Cortland improved to 5-2 overall and 4-1 in league play.

  • @ETBU_Football Keeps "The Claw" in Texas

    MARSHALL, Texas – A record-breaking day for the offense was just what the East Texas Baptist University football team needed as they took care of business against the Louisiana College Wildcats, 68-35, retaining “the Claw.” This win not only puts ETBU at 5-2 overall and 4-2 in the American Southwest Conference, but it also marks the third year in a row that “the Claw” will stay in Texas. ETBU had a day offensively as they gained 776 yards of total offense. The day was a tremendous one for Brian Baca, who shattered a school record with 659 passing yards and seven touchdown passes. This break’s the previous record of 530 passing yards and six touchdown passes held by Dru Smith who also broke it against Louisiana College last year. Richard Johnson had nine receptions for 197 yards and two touchdowns while JaQuavian Dabbs added seven receptions for 144 yards.
