Fitchburg State's football coaching position is open, as Jim McGuire will not be returning to the program.
McGuire coached for two seasons. Promoted to the top spot in February 2018 as an interim coach, McGuire's interim tag was removed after the Falcons started 1-4 that season.
Fitchburg State finished 2-8 in 2018, and 2-8 in 2019 as well.
